Schneider Electric (SE) Talent Management Strategy & Practices

  • Drive SE global talent management strategy and practices in BU/Region/Global Function

Team & Project Management

  • Manage and animate Countries and Department HRs and Managers in order to develop teams to deliver expected HR targets
  • Manage multiple projects and participate in corporate and cross-functional teams as needed.

Talent Management Processes

  • Ensure Global Talent Management processes are adapted, communicated and implemented within the region; own and deploy Performance Appraisal Review, Escalating People Review and Competency & Career Review campaigns in order to have a uniform and systematic approach to employee development
  • Bring innovative solutions to staff key positions

Recruitment & Internal Mobility

  • Facilitate effective external recruitment, induction procedures and internal mobility processes
  • Be highly involved in relationships with target schools and campus management at the regional level
  • Enhance/enable talent internal mobility to/from other entities in order to develop global leaders
  • Challenge, influence and convince HRBP/Managers within own entity to answer business needs and develop potentials through stretching assignments

Learning and Development

  • Drive the Assessment processes in order to accelerate potentials’ development
  • Be a key contributor in building the training offer; suggest career evolutions, identity leadership training needs
  • Partner with Managers/HRBPs to facilitate potentials development through:
  • individual development plans

  • participation in executive development programs

  • exposure to executives in specific events

  • Organize and, in some cases, enable Talent Pool Assessment programs to include assessment, feedback and career development.

Diversity

  • Develop diversity among the region; enlarge and diversify the talent pool (gender, new economies, newly-acquired companies)

  • Build local projects/initiatives and contribute to global ones

Talent Retention Management

  • Collaborate with leaders/HRBPs to monitor attrition rate & compensation package to identify trends and potential solutions

Strategic workforce planning

  • Collaborate with global HR on strategic resource planning issues

HRIS/ Reporting

  • Monitor update of all data related to Performance Management, CCR and & People Review into People Soft in order to ensure data quality; animate entity dashboards on Talent Management; contribute to all global initiatives to improve data analysis and reporting, to make sure we have accurate information to make decisions at strategic level.

Meetings/Committees

  • Participate with a Talent Management Network

  • Represent your BU/Region/Global Function in the global Mobility Call

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. A Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology or equivalent is preferred

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a strategic business-based HR role across multiple functions (regional experience needed)

  • Experience of working in a worldwide complex organization with senior leadership

  • Experience in strategic workforce planning

  • Project management skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in change management

  • At ease with HR Tools and processes

  • Experience in Assessment or Development Centers

  • Experience in Recruitment and/or Learning & Development
