Preparation of the annual departmental operatingbudget, financialplans, outsourcing contracts.
Monitor budget and controlexpenseswithafocus on increasing productivity.
Responsible for training, supervising IHG standardsin these areas such as I-Clean and PMM procedures ensuring full brand compliance.
Responsible for inventory levels, managing cost perroom for suppliesand labour.
Assist inpreparing annual capital, cash flow to accurately forecast budgets and achieverequired operating results.
Analyzefinancials to drive revenues, future profitability, and maximum return oninvestment.
Assist inleading capital plans and asset management initiatives, including working withowners to maintain or improve the property’s market leadership position.
Assist in hotel renovation works andother projects, ensuring on time and on budget.
Provide mentoring,coaching and regular feedback to helpmanage conflicts and improve team performance and engagement.
Ensure allstaff areaccurately trained and havethejob related tools and equipmentrequired.
Promoteteamwork and quality service through daily communication andcoordination and drive employee engagement.
Develop programsthat drive improvements in employee engagement and are aligned with the MakeEvery Interaction Count brand service behaviors.
Develop,implement and monitor team member succession planning to ensure future bench strengthfor Holiday Inn Express brand.
Establishperformance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring,coaching and regular feedback to enhance performance.
Oversee anysalary, disciplinary or staffing/human resources related actions in accordancewith company rules and policies.
rive anddeliver hotel goals with outsource partner and manage outsource servicesefficiently and efficiently.
Drive anddeliver Asset Management plans. Schedule routine inspections of guest rooms and public areasto ensure furnishings,rooms,equipment, linens, toilet facilities in publicareas, lobby, etc. arecleanand in goodrepair.
Ensurepreventive maintenance programs forhotel facilities are carried out as per plan.
Lead a team to respond to guestcomplaints, specialrequests andensurecorrective action is taken to achievecompleteguestsatisfaction and problem resolution.
Understand andrespond tocustomer’sneedsbased on market segmentation to ensurea high level of guest satisfaction.
Demonstrate BrandHeartedbehaviors by maintaining compliance with all brand standards, behaviors,hallmarks and license agreement mandates.
Lead a team to driveimprovement in guest love targets and goals.Collaborate with team members to establish and implement services andprograms that meet or exceed guest expectations.
Ensure allsocial media feedback is responded to within the correct time frame to ensure100% score in brilliant basics.
Ensureaccurate licenses and safety signoffs are maintained for all contractors.
Maintainand order supplies and equipmentin a timely and efficient mannerwhileminimizingwaste and maintaining“green” initiatives (example: container recycling, and cleaningagents).
Accountable forIHG fire life safety (FLS) adherence in the hotel.
Responsible for the security oflost and found items throughout the hotel.
Ensure a safeand secure environment for guests, team members and hotel assets in compliancewith hotel or owner policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
Act as publicrelations representative to raise awareness of hotel and brand in localcommunity. Drive team member involvement in community organizations, activitiesand businesses.
Develop andcarry out action plans to be environmentally conscious, take steps to reducethe hotel’s carbon footprint.
Educate andtrainteammembers incompliancewith federal, state and local laws andsafety regulations.
Ensure all riskmanagement programs are conducted in compliance with our brand standards.
Ensure all thenecessary compliance activities and documentation are up to date and checkedfor accuracy.
MinimumDiploma or equivalent
Atleast 5 years’ experience in hospitality or facilities management in a service industry
Mustbe proficient in written and spoken English.
