RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Implement MJN Quality Systems to support business strategies by ensuring compliance to MJN Quality Manual and applicable local regulatory requirements

  • Assist in communication of Global policies and procedures at the local level.

  • Support Quality System awareness enhancement programs.

  • Gather and review site functions’ Quality performance for trends and identify continuous improvement opportunities for sharing in the monthly Quality Meeting.

  • Implement internal audit program and ensure compliance to requirements of:

  • GMP / HACCP pre-requisite programs

  • Quality systems

  • Halal quality management system

  • Implement local change control procedures, which are aligned with current global policy/requirements and verify the effectiveness of approved change requests. Liaise with Global / Regional Change Control community as required.

  • Maintain local document control system, and coordinate with other site functions’ document administrator to ensure local SOPs are aligned with current global and regional practices.

  • Act as QA’s document administrator to checkout/upload documents to GPDMS, route for approval and distribute for SOP read and understand acknowledgement.

  • Execute local Mock Recall exercise as per MJN procedures

  • Implement identified quality systems initiatives, monitor progress and results and verify effectiveness.

  • Participate in the relevant quality professional communities (e.g. GMC, Global Change Control etc.) to create a network for teaching and learning and identification of best practices.

  • Assist in audits preparation (e.g. Global/Regional Quality Audit, External Certification Bodies), and follow-up on agreed audit findings and preventive measures.

  • Support OE/Engineering improvement projects to ensure compliance to MJN quality systems requirements.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Educational Attainment Requirement

  • Diploma or Bachelor degree in a scientific or technical discipline (Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science or related)

  • Professional background

  • At least 4 years work experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Systems with background of Quality Management Systems, Food Safety Management System, HACCP, Halal Quality Management System.. Experience in manufacturing of infant/follow up formula will be of advantage.

  • Preferably with document control and change control experience.

  • Experienced in collaborating with various functional roles within the organization to develop strategies and execute action plans to resolve critical issues.
