Job Description:

Role Summary

Responsible for implementing and managing maintenance contract renewal initiatives in assigned territory. Maintains renewal revenue base at highest possible retention rate and protects contract revenue stream. Ensures timely contract renewal and promotes awareness of upgrade and add-on opportunities to customers. Works towards assigned Inside Sales revenue goals.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Duties include driving specific renewals for annual maintenance through outbound calling and prospecting.

  • Responsible for handling customer maintenance renewal sales inquiries with the goal of maintaining or upgrading existing customers' products and services.

  • Advises customer of expiring support or maintenance contracts, pricing, new service offerings, etc.

  • Will have sufficient knowledge to understand customer's embedded base of products as well as new product features and their benefits to customers.

Key Relationships

  • Reports to the Director, Inside Sales – Asia Pacific & Japan.

  • Close working relationships with Sales, Sales Operations, Services, Marketing and Channel Management.

  • Deals with partners, resellers and distributors as required.

  • Deals with end user customers.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • Strong team player, able to work effectively with colleagues to maximise revenue potential within region.

  • Customer focussed.

  • A self-starter, energetic, enthusiastic and highly motivated.

  • Experience in using Microsoft Office suite of applications.

  • The ability to complete assigned tasks independently with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Strong communications skills.

  • At least 12 months experience in a similar role.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

Desirable

  • Understanding of the IT Security market.

  • Understanding of IT Networking fundamentals.

  • Experience in using SAP and Salesforce.
