JOB TITLE: Regional RealEstate Manager (Lead)

JOB LOCATION: Singapore

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

The Regional Real Estate Lead, Asia Pacific(SEAA, North and South Asia) will manageour regional real estate portfolio enabling us to respond to changing businessneeds, minimising the costs and taking opportunities to maximize value,balanced against risk.

JOB SUMMARY

  • To adopt Global real estate strategies through developing clusters’ real estate portfolio strategic plans and enhance our current business agenda, aligning with global and local policies such as agile working and Facility and Building Services.

  • Deliver transaction management service to business through leading and managing 3rdparty RE or Service Providers or self-perform for all property types (office, warehouse, manufacturing, R&D, retail) within the geographies.

  • Update critical property data by working with outsourced RE and providers.

  • Develop KPI’s that enable benchmarking with other companies to identify opportunities for value creation and take opportunities for quick win returns

  • Work in partnership with broader Workplace Services teamto deliver full suite of workplace services (PM, Space Planning, FM, etc).

  • Lead outsourced 3rdparty provider to provide and support Strategic Portfolio Planning services for applicable geographies, and work closely with Global Real Estate Planning and Data & Analytics team to ensure strategies are globally aligned.

  • Act as a change agent with key stakeholders to drive value and values vis a vis real estate principles and policies.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven ability to influence and manage relationships with senior level stakeholders.

  • Experience leading cross functional teams charged with creating, and implementing operational methods that are vastly different from current methods.

  • Significant experience in crafting clear, concise business plans and recommendations, and landing these recommendations to business stakeholders.

  • Financial acumen required to review strategic plans and scenarios.

  • Fluent inEnglish & know another Asian language is an advantage.

  • Real Estate (RE) industryknowledge including the following:

  • Best practices and contracting methods

  • Service Level Agreement methodology

  • Strengths and weaknesses of third party delivery models

  • Key global, and regional service providers, and strengths and weaknesses of those providers

  • Experience in managing commercial real estate transactions, working with, and managing large commercial real estate service providers.

  • Experience in managing a regional lease administration program.

  • Experience in leading a strategic real estate portfolio planning program, and successful experience tying corporate real estate objectives to business objectives.

  • Ability to manage suppliers, ensuring the Services delivered by Strategic Partners meet the cost and service level expectations and requirements of the Unilever business.
