Provide technical assistance to Service Center Coordinators/Managers in response to any special request related to the HT&P equipment and to facilitate the successful completion of jobs according to TDW standards.

Technical assistance (80%)

  • Analyzes the customer request from a technical point of view and confirms the feasibility of the operation, involves the Engineering department if needed,

  • Determines the optimum and safer solution to execute every HT&P intervention,

  • Determines if specific equipment needs to be produced or modified for HT&P interventions and assists the Engineering department if needed;

  • Provides GA drawings/drafting of STACK-UP drawings for HT&P special technical applications

  • On specific request, conducts on-site pre-job assessments to identify clients’ requests, solve technical troubles with TDW equipment and provide specific answer to each customer,

  • Assists the Service Centers Coordinators/Managers in the preparation of quotes to ensure practicality and profitability of the projects involving special applications;

  • Monitors equipment quality standards through FPRs review, investigates problems and recommends required corrective actions and preventive measures,

  • Supports HT&P field applications by serving in an advisory and operational capacity as required ensuring that jobs are completed within corporate guidelines at minimal delay and cost and with maximum safety,

  • Remains current on new development, policies and procedures relating to equipment and operational/maintenance techniques and implements changes as necessary,

  • Ensures compliance with established quality control/assurance procedures while performing all the HT&P related processes.

Preparation of special application related jobs on time and according to customers’ specifications (20%)

  • Receives and processes FEAP service centers’ requests in a timely manner for the assigned territories,

  • Analyzes jobs from a technical point of view by using customers technical specifications,

  • Liaises with the Service Center Coordinators/Managers to review client specifications,

  • Establishes equipments lists for special applications according to TDW standards and customers’ specifications,

  • Creates methods statement according to the TDW procedures,

  • Coordinates the design and fabrication of special equipment and modifies existing equipment in collaboration with the Engineering departments.

Relationships with others:

  • Reports to the Operations Manager,

  • Works in close collaboration with the Service Center Coordinators/Managers,

  • Liaises with the different departments like Engineering, Central Services Groups, Traffic, Quality and workshop as well as with the TDW technicians and/or technical responsible of customers to ensure the success of our jobs.

Customer Orientation:

  • Finds solutions to answer customers’ special technical challenges,

  • Finds the most appropriate equipments to provide rapid response to Customer’s special needs.

  • Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent by experience,

  • Application engineering background is a strong asset,

  • Sound knowledge of TDW products range and technical capabilities,

  • Experience with AutoCAD or any other engineering software required,

  • Good interpersonal skills,

  • Strong organization skills and rigor.
