Miller Heiman Group is offering an exciting opportunity for talented sales professionals with experience selling intangible business solutions to large corporations. Miller Heiman Group's Business Development Director is responsible for hitting/exceeding an annual revenue quota from both a portfolio of named accounts and via the uncovering of new accounts, focused on selling our performance improvement solutions. This role requires high-level execution at every stage of the pipeline development and sales process. Stage examples include analyzing accounts, prospecting and scheduling with new contacts, identifying customer needs, positioning Miller Heiman Group’s solutions, advancing opportunities, deepening relationships, and partnering with project team to ensure flawless execution.
Generate sales in assigned accounts/portfolio through direct sales, networking, and marketing events. Identify, develop, and expand key accounts.
Demonstrate strategic selling approach to identify, target and penetrate companies with needs appropriate to Miller Heiman Group services and products. Consistently link Miller Heiman Group’s sales capabilities with client’s business issues and strategic objectives.
Consistently engage in prospecting activities. Concentrate on new business development opportunities in targeted new logo accounts as well as new buying center relationships in existing clients.
Qualify all accounts and ensure accurate information in Salesforce.com.
Work with senior leaders in sales, service, human resources, corporate learning and line management
Develop winning proposals and deliver presentations. Collaborate with other resources, when appropriate.
Stay current regarding the business issues facing all dominant industries in your portfolio and how Miller Heiman’s services can help solve them.
Work collaboratively with the Client Delivery team and the customer support teams to continuously improve customer satisfaction and uncover new business opportunities.
5+ years of sales experience in a complex business environment with emphasis on selling of intangible services to leading corporations.
Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree in business or organizational development is a plus.
English fluency in written and verbal communication required. Mandarin or Bahasa is a plus.
Previous success in a Sales or Business Development role selling professional services and/or SaaS technologies is strongly desired.
Experience with new business development and maintaining relationships.
Established relationships with Human Resources and Sales leaders in South-East Asia a plus.
