We currently have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our highly successful Innovation team based in Singapore.
Reporting to the Category Planning & Activation Manager, the Category Manager - Biscuits is responsible for developing marketing programs targeted to retailers, wholesalers and distributors that resell their company's products to consumers. Co-ordinate and implement marketing programs that increase company's brand presence and market share, and improve customer satisfaction.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure that strategies are aligned with sales objectives and revenue targets.
Some of the key accountabilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):
Participates in the design of the promotional materials and maintains contacts with the Key Accounts in order to supervise all promotional activities.
Leading development of the Category Strategy to achieve defined business objectives across all product categories.
Responsible for management and monitoring of Category Trade Investments and initiatives execution.
Contribute to the Company’s goals and objectives and improve market share, customer satisfaction and productivity performance.
Establishing channel strategies and implementing the associated plans.
Development of a trade promotional plan with key customers and channels.
For any form of communication directly or indirectly linked to Company/Brand equity works under supervision and responsibility of Marketing Dept
Ensuring alignment across the Sales and Marketing organizations on field sales needs and marketing initiatives
Working closely with key customers to provide category and shopper insights to drive performance.
Development and delivery of new product development (NPD) plans.
Co-ordination and communications of product, price and pack changes.
Work closely with the Supply Chain on stocks forecasting to manage freshness of stocks for execution
Is responsible for Sales Force Animation Programs and Actions.
Develop, implement & evaluate category plans to meet profit objectives.
Manage and evaluate trade promotion levels to achieve maximum returns.
Do you have what it takes?
4 – 6 years stretching experience in similar position preferably in the FMCG sector.
Budget management experience.
Good knowledge of Markets.
Used to interpreting data and driving value adding insights.
Able to promote cross functional effectiveness.
Decision making oriented & able to quickly react to changing environment.
Good and effective communication and negotiation skills, leadership.
