The Services Commercial Manager is accountable for a consistent ITO process throughout the region with quality and speed for all high value / high risk /complex services deals. The Commercial Manager owns the DSR (Deal strategy Review) to drive early engagement and strategy development for Services Deals in coordination with HQ, regional DoA and segment commercial teams.
Owns the Commercial Operations (Com-Ops) process ensuring development of a consistent Com-Ops function throughout the region (Proposal generation, T&Cs, compliance with policy 5.0, deal closure).
Leads Deal strategy reviews (DSR) for complex services deals.
Responsible for Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) metrics (cycle time, R review quality) for commercial operations regionally.
Owns ITO process across the Services business regionally, the strategy development process, proposal generation, negotiation and deal closing in coordination with the segment and regional team.
Interfacing with all functions across region and segments such as Sales, Risk, Legal, Commercial Finance and Order-to-Remittance (OTR) teams to develop successful commercial strategies and solutions.
Working with the Commercial Operations COE, continuously simplify and refine the proposal processes with special emphasis on Lean opportunities for improvement
Engineering, business, technical (or equivalent) degree; OR relevant experience within the energy industry.
Sound experience in sales, commercial operations
Ability to manage and influence in a matrix environment
Ability to effectively manage time, budget and expense parameters.
Ability to build and manage a successful team – as well as being an effective team member
Being a flexible, self-starter is essential in this role
