We’re seeking a Content Manager to be based in either our Singapore or Sydney office. In this role, you will contribute to and manage Western’s Union’s digital content for the Asia Pacific region andsupport new content initiatives to drive the digital business.

The responsibilities of the position include (and are not limited to) being involved in the following:

  • Writing engaging, on-brandcopy to support regional and global marketing campaigns and promotions;including web content, emails, social posts and more.

  • Ensuring optimization ofour digital properties through SEO site maintenance and the creation ofrelevant and engaging SEO content and content marketing campaigns.

  • Supporting content acrossall digital platforms, Web, App and Mobile.

  • Supporting new contentinitiatives to drive the digital business including App Store/ASO/AppStore Keyword research, blogging and A/B testing.

  • Supporting the product anduser experience teams to ensure clear and helpful product content and UItext, that meets local needs, is delivered.

  • Working with brand, legal,privacy and other teams to ensure compliance and get content approvals.

  • Participating in useracceptance testing of product and UI content.

  • Maintaining content inmultiple languages—and sometimes multiple versions to meet differentcountry requirements—using external translation vendors.

  • Fixing contentbugs/defects in a content management system.

  • Collaborating with yourteam members and colleagues throughout the Asia-Pacific and other regionsaround the world to support the global brand.

What you willneed to succeed:

Qualificationsand experience:

  • University degree in English,communications, journalism, or similar.

  • Outstanding writing, editing,and proofreading skills (writing samples will berequired).

  • 5+ years’ experience writingand managing online content in a corporateenvironment for a consumer audience.

  • Deep understanding of—andpassion for—web content best practices andemerging trends.

  • Broad experience in applyingvoice & tone guidelines and editorial style, andtailoring contentappropriately for various audiences.

  • Working knowledge ofuser-centered design processes, information architecture,and web design bestpractices.

  • Experience with contentmanagement systems (Adobe Experience Manager/CQ5would be ideal), supportingWeb, Mobile Optimized sites and App content.

  • Experience creating contentthat will be translated/localized.

  • Experience with search engineoptimisation, creating SEO content and contentmarketing.

  • Strong organizational skillsand keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multipleprojects simultaneously, to prioritize workload, and towork effectively in afast-paced environment with demanding deadlines.

  • Confidence to present and standup for your work and ideas—along with the ability to take and use constructivefeedback.
