Job Description:

As part of 3M’s global digital acceleration initiatives, the Asia Digital Excellence Team has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Product Owner. You will be working with and leading a cross-functional team that is challenged to define and evolve the user experience for 3M.com in Asia, which serves a wide variety of Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) customers. You will also be required to assess and manage the deployment of new digital platforms, as required. Our 3M-owned digital platforms are the focal point of our online engagement & demand generation programs for our customers & end-users.

Specifically, you will:

Be responsible for the processes, governance & execution pertaining to deployment & enhancement of 3M’s online presence, 3m.com, as well as assessing & managing the deployment of potential new platforms pertaining to digital acceleration, which may include, but is not limited to, where to buy, internal content approval & content syndication platforms.

  • Lead a cross-functional product team in the delivery of key product outcomes by focusing on user experience, customer engagement, content & SEO

  • Responsible for establishing & evangelizing the Asia 3M.com product vision

  • Driving the scoping, project management and implementation of 3m.com to ensure business requirements are met for all Asia subsidiaries

  • Work with business, regional, and brand stakeholders to incorporate business needs into the product roadmap, as appropriate

  • Responsible for prioritization, acceptance and delivery of product backlog, including resolving dependencies and blockers

  • Regularly present and demo the .com experience product to senior leadership and business stakeholders

  • Participate in digital thought-leadership activities within the company and the industry

  • Ability and willingness to wear multiple hats as needed for success of the team

  • Identify opportunities to improve the experience through analytics, competitive analysis and user research

  • Working within and drive forward a lean-agile team that will enhance the customer experience of priority 3m.com experiences

  • Working with and upskilling an existing network of 3m.com experts to drive forward business priorities

  • Own/drive budgets for developing best-in-class web experiences for priority divisions

  • Report on Asia 3m.com deployment status & effectiveness

  • Prioritize digitization and web maintenance requests, while facilitating execution through IT teams

  • Manage the implementation of new website functionalities such as ratings & reviews, design pattern library enhancements & SEO

  • Maintain constant communication with global and country teams to ensure that business priorities are being met

  • Lead the assessment of suitability for new platforms for the Asia region

  • Own the deployment & adoption process for any new platform deemed required for Asia

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • 8+ years of experience in managing the development, maintenance, and/or programming of websites and other digital products

  • Project management experience with demonstrated ability to prioritize work independently and manage multiple tasks; Familiarity with Dual-Track Agile, Lean UX or Design Thinking methodologies (PMP certification is a plus)

  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Excel, PowerPoint, Word (Photoshop, HTML, CSS, Axure experience is a plus)

  • Experience in driving operational excellence with multi-functional teams

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven success building relationships across all levels, internally and externally, including influencing senior decision makers

  • Experience analyzing and applying data to make decisions

  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills in English
