You are a passionate "Leader" responsible for the regional oversight and strategic direction of our customer base. You will be responsible for Asia Pacific and Japan's Professional Services (PS) practice including management and growth of the services business, organization and with laser focus on driving license revenues.

You will be closely aligned with our sales team across APAC to foster and nurture close business relationships, cultivate, sell and deliver solutions to our customers. The PS leader will align with regional leaders on long term plans with agile sprints, develop a creative practice providing thought leadership in the industry, as well as, develop the go-to-market strategies and offerings that will drive growth in market share and revenue. You will lead a PS manager and individual contributors, ensuring successful engagements, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and driving adherence to key operational and financial metrics.

Responsibilities: I want and can do that:

  • Meet and exceed professional services quotas including bookings, revenue, and utilization

  • Forecast and provide PS bookings revenue mentorshipguidance regularly, identify challenges and mitigate risks with contingency plans

  • Manages Professional Services Manager and their consulting resource teams

  • Interacts effectively at multiple levels with various corporate and field functions

  • Align and implement global practices, complementing local business cultural across Greater China, South Asia, Japan, Korea, and ANZ

  • Coordination with country managers and consulting management and further develop the growth in customer solutions

  • Develops and maintains relationships with channel partners

  • Provide support, both tactical and strategic, in achieving district product sales quota

  • Maintain an environment which encourages consultants to spend time documenting methodologies and best practices on deploying Splunk in order to further improve the value of our solutions, as well as, enabling other Splunk employees and our consulting partners

  • 10+ years of relevant IT industry experience

  • 8+ years experience in customer-facing positions as a professional services project manager, consultant or engineer, preferably with a software company consulting organization or “Big 5” firm

  • 8+ years leading and motivating a consultant team

  • Strong organizational, financial, and management skills with an ability to lead competing demands

  • Prior experience in systems integration consulting or software hardware vendor services

  • Confirmed ability to grow and own the technical personnel and processes associated with enterprise software sales

  • Ability to excel in a team environment

  • Proven creative problem solving ability Effective and clear communication with services partners, channel and Professional Services Managers

  • Well organized with a healthy sense of urgency. Ability to meet SLAs and bold deadlines.

  • Self-motivated, independent and self-educating, yet willing and able to work collaboratively and harmoniously with partner community and fellow Splunkers

  • Able to analyze, develop and deploy internal processes
