You've established your people management and leadership ability. Here's where you take it further. You'll manage assigned sales personnel to achieve unit revenues and expense objectives, assign territories to representatives and play your part in negotiations with key customers. As well as managing budget and resources, and developing direct reports, you'll also assist in planning strategy and training sales staff. Reporting to the SAPK Channel Sales & Development Director, the Emerging Countries Channel Sales Manager is the business leader responsible for the overall sales of instruments within the SAPK IDO region - countries in which Agilent does not have a direct sales presence and relies on distributors for instrument sales, consumable product sales initially sold with the instruments and post-sales support. The person in this role will manage a team of Channel Partner Managers, who are responsible for Indonesia, Philippines, Pakistan, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and several other countries in South East Asia. Emerging Countries Channel Sales Manager will develop, refine and deliver the Region Channel Strategies, achieving agreed market share, sales growth and margin, order book and customer satisfaction targets within a defined cost framework Role and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and Agilent goals set on a quarterly basis

  • Maintain positive growth for each Instruments product line and ensure successful Ramp-to-Volume for new products release

  • Identify Key Growth Areas and execute strategic plans to capture market share

  • Work across internal functions to achieve one common goal through discipline collaboration

  • Problem solving and conflict management skill

  • Work professionally with Agilent global accounts within assigned territories

  • Ensure partner compliance with partner agreements and with overall corporate compliance requirements.

  • Ensure Agilent customer satisfaction quality is maintained through channel partners

  • Reports to and works closely with Channel Sales & Development Director to achieve the above.
