Reporting to the Sales Controller, AMEA Exports & Singapore, the Finance Analyst, AMEA Exports is responsible for Sales Controlling activities within Asia Middle East Africa Exports, mainly in the area of Trade and Marketing Spend, Overheads and Pricing. This includes ensuring that controls are in place around Advertising, Consumer Promotion, and Trade Spend planning, execution, disbursements and reporting. This position also holds responsibility for ensuring that pricing administration is in place and that margins are regularly reviewed. The above activities are to be compliant with Mondelez accounting policies, procedures and General Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP). This position will manage month end accounting processes with India shared services accounting team to ensure financial statements are prepared accurately.
Some of the key accountabilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):
Sales Controlling – Trade and Marketing Spend Administration
- Responsible for reviewing all distributor claims. Ensuring all claims supported with sufficient documentations and processing in accordance to proof of performance matrix, delegated authority and approved budget. Distributors are paid on timely basis.
Sales Controlling – Price Administration
Review Master Pricelists on a regular basis to ensure that margins are maintain, uploading with latest cost updates and highlight any risks on ability to achieve target margins to management.
Work closely with plants to understand costs movements.
Review proposed prices on new and replacement SKUs.
Prepare pricing updates to Korean JV, and liaise with plant on costs movements.
Review and ensure that all pricing action certificates approvals are in line with Mondelez policies and procedures
Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting
Holds responsibility for submission of 2 legal entity month end accruals communication to India shared service accounting team.
Ensure all intercompany transactions are recorded correctly.
Reconcile reported results to records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Review monthly close Profit and Loss to forecast and highlight/ understand discrepancies (Gross Sales Deduction, Advertising &Consumer and Overheads)
Reporting requirements submitted on time to allow accurate reflection in reported results.
Liaise with India shared service accounting team to resolve any discrepancies.
Plan and review Overheads using Cost Management Tool reports, and highlight any over or underspend in the various packages.
Ensure that Sales Controlling processes are compliant with Mondelez policies and procedures and that appropriate internal controls are in place.
Appropriate approvals received in line with approval matrix.
Appropriate processes followed.

Min. University degree + 3-5 years of experience
Experience in Commercial finance within a FMCG environment
