The Team Manager will be part of the Phone Sales Management team in Direct Sales Force that oversees 150 Relationship Officers in Singapore and Johor Bahru (CTSM). A revenue-generating business unit that drives in nearly $1 billion worth of revolving balances for the Consumer Business annually.

As a Phone Sales Team Manager – his/her core responsibilities include leading a team of Relationship Officers on Funds Transfer Program through Balance Transfer and Installment Loans activities within a call centre environment. As this is a human centric role which requires a leader with strong influential and people management skills to be coupled with a positive sales driven attitude – the person needs to be able to execute sales strategy and management plan confidently and with accountability to sales performance.

The person must be comfortable talking to a wide audience and can demonstrate the ability to coach and train new hires through their initial learning curve, maintain cohesion and camaraderie within the team to deliver consistent sales volume and groom top sales performing benchmark for the business. Key sales responsibilities include maintaining quality ABU ranking performances, embracing NPS 30 plus accountability through quality service delivery and abiding strictly to the Fair Dealing Guidelines (FDG) and DNC registry implementation. This person is also expected to be the pillar in supporting the officers on leads management, extension, rates deviation, customer’s queries and credit limit revision follow ups on a daily basis. Ability to understand payment hierarchy, interest rates and rules of engagement on sales procedures are essential.

Qualifications

  • Diploma and above with at least 3 to 5 years of sales experience

  • Experience in leading a team will be essential though not mandatory

  • Diploma and above

  • Good knowledge of Credit Payment Products

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Analytical, strong appreciation on MIS and Trend Analysis

  • Positive mindset and enjoy taking accountability of sales performance

  • Able to thrive in a fast pace environment and undertake sales deliverables challenges
