Wealth Management (WM) ex-USA is a USD 150 Million business, distributed evenly across Europe and Asia. This includes desktops as well as feeds and currently focused primarily around our strengths in News, Research and Company Data but now shifting more towards Digital and Mobile and working with strategic partners. This role will report into the Head of Customer Proposition, Asia and collaborate closely with Global Head of Wealth as well as European Wealth Management Proposition Head to ensure seamless strategy formulation and execution in WM Asia.
Role Responsibilities * Develop and execute a strategy for select local markets in Asia (e.g. Japan, HK/China, Australia, Singapore) in a product-agnostic manner by developing solutions that cater to needs of retail wealth advisors, self-directed investors, discretionary portfolio managers and investment strategists in WM firms as these markets become more Digital and Mobile in nature * Drive a double-digit growth agenda in WM in Asia through improved retention and more importantly by selling into emerging white spaces in WM * Take a market-driven view to define solutions for above listed propositions by cutting across traditional product silos across desktop (Eikon, Eikon Core) and Feeds/Digital Solutions (TRKD, RT Pricing, FX) and Managed Services * Design propositions by taking an end to end view of the workflow for above listed propositions and developing a perspective on where to buy versus build versus partner to meet the needs of the customer * Assume ownership for defining the partnership strategy for select local markets, not only for Web Site Development/Hosting services, but also full range of partner solutions are necessary for enabling the customer solution (e.g., back office processing, CRM, UX design) * Play leadership role in driving commercial strategy around Feeds products to ensure they meet needs of WM customers
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience * 10 years of work experience, with commercial and business strategy experience * Deep understanding of wealth management professionals, their workflow and the community they operate within, and the information tools they use, including the transition to Digital and Mobile * Highly motivated and proactive with strong sense of accountability * Strongly developed analytical & numerical skills, with proven ability to distill complex findings into a ‘story’ with actionable findings to support commercial decision making * Strong presentation/communication skills, with proven record of effectively presenting to both senior internal and external stakeholders * Demonstrated proactive and solutions-focused thinking to help drive the business forward * Strong ability to coordinate and manage the distributed collaborative efforts of cross functional and cross business unit teams.
