To work closely with FXLM & Generalist sales teams across APAC markets; FXLM Trading Teams (particularly with Exotic Rates Trading and FX Options Trading); Quants Team developing financial models and, to provide solutions and structures for corporate & institutional client-base to (a) hedge foreign exchange and interest rate risk; (b) invest liquidity in derivative or note format offering high fixed rate return or high variable rate return linked to liquid market underlying variables.

Focus particularly on developing EM FX & Rates Products & Structured Solutions for Greater China (China, Taiwan and Hong Kong) clients.

Reporting to Singapore based Head of FXLM APAC Structuring & Solutions Head.

  • Working with investor & corporate sales teams across different markets including: China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, India and Japan to offer structured pay-offs and investment solutions to investors like hedge funds, real money (insurance, pension) and other financial institutions --- to enhance yields / earn attractive return on liquidity across different tenor buckets. Continue to meet clients (in partnership with sales coverage teams) to understand investment & hedge criteria and applicable regulations – and develop structures which satisfy such criteria

  • Work in close partnership with Strategic Risk Solutions and other structuring teams (G10, MAG etc); to jointly explore opportunities to develop / offer FX & EM rates linked structures to clients to hedge existing exposure, achieve required investment duration and improve return on capital etc.

  • Coordinate actively with FXLM Exotics Rates Trading and Quant teams to continue to develop new products & financial models

  • Focus on high-wallet target clients (as highlighted in various surveys including Coalition, Oliver Wyman and Greenwich etc) to identify product gaps; and work closely with relevant sales teams.

  • Train sales teams on FX and Local markets structures & pay-offs


  • Proven experience on Greater China rates structures, foreign exchange derivative, product development with a top investment or commercial bank in APAC

  • Excellent understanding of product development, structuring & risk management tools and techniques

  • Strong knowledge of currency options, derivatives and solutions for FX & Interest Rates.

  • Good knowledge of the overall institutional & corporate clients business & relationship particularly in Greater China

  • Track record of dealing with Greater China corporate / institutional clients

  • Microsoft office proficient, excel, word, PowerPoint etc

  • Ability to analyze investor portfolio
