IT Business Analyst:

As a part of the Wealth Management - Global Product Development team in GCT, the candidate will be leading the various initiatives as a Business Analyst. S/he is expected to have expertise in Wealth Management products, especially Insurance Sales and Advisory knowledge, Product Pricing and Incentives for Retail Banking products, Familiarity with Blaze Rule Engine.

The candidate is expected to do functional impact analysis and estimations for the business requirements, in collaboration with business teams, architects, development teams and other stake holders. S/he is expected to manage business interactions and act as a liaison between business and technology teams. In this role, the candidate is expected to be able to benchmark the product against market standards and other market leaders in the product space, from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in analysis of business requirements in insurance domain

  • Should have a thorough knowledge of leverage investments/credit and risk/wealth management businesses, practices and processes

  • Should have worked in a technology environment or guided technology teams in translating business needs into technology solutions/system enhancements

  • Experience of working in a technology product company with focus on insurance/wealth management area is preferred

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lead and work with teams across multiple locations and time zones

  • Technical skills - strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint, basic knowledge of tools like Visio/TIBCO Business Studio, Blue Print/Raptor, etc.

  • Supervise a team of business analysts in business requirements gathering, systems design and analysis, testing, implementation and support of a major application or a series of related applications

  • Develops and communicates with senior management and project team on project status

  • Maintains a close relationship with the technology team to ensure developments are as per business requirements

  • Provides regular inputs into the overall project and program plan, and is accountable for activities and outcomes of specific modules

  • Builds training capabilities for specific modules and helps deliver to appropriate user groups
