IT Business Unit Sr. Analyst


  • This position is responsible for leading a talented scrum team of solution lead, business analysts, designers, developers and testers to Design, Develop and Deploy projects in Customer Management domains for Global Consumer Bank in APAC regions.


  • This Position with Build and Delivery Management Group is responsible for leading a scrum team to execute backlog based on priorities set by product owner/business, ensuring deliverables are on time with production quality. He/she is also responsible to resolve impediments so that project can execute smoothly and team members have the right tool to work efficiently.

Skills and work activities that support these responsibilities include:

  • Manage a team of highly motivated designers, developers and testers based in multiple geographical locations

  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple work streams and managing without authority

  • Develop and implement best-in-class processes, metrics and practices

  • Manage partnership with business and external strategic vendors and ensure that the delivery is achieved within the defined quality and timeline

  • Ensure that the team is defining and implementing systems that are aligned with the organization strategy and goals

  • Manage and track resources, review works to ensure high quality job to achieve customer satisfaction and service commitments

  • Adhere to the Citigroup's compliance standards and ensure compliance for the applications supported


Qualifications and Key Required Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education

  • PMP, ACP or CSM certification preferred

  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience preferably within an international technology organization in delivering complex projects across various middleware technologies, service-oriented architecture, microservices, APIs and cloud platforms

  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management principles and software development lifecycle practices and methodology

  • Hands-on knowledge on the process and roles in agile development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

  • Deep understanding of project management practices, principles and tool sets

  • Thorough understanding of the financial services industry preferably in customer management domain

  • Prior Experience of Delivering high quality strategic large scale projects/releases

  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills - must have ability to synthesize, develop and present clear and concise recommendations

  • Excellent relationship management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries and geographies

  • Self-directed and motivated; ability to deal with imperfect information, decision and drive to successful conclusions
