BRIEF SUMMARY

This position is to assist Global Commercial head in running the Key account Management program. Role will entail looking after global key account requirements Customer interaction at senior level, trade and commercial coordination. The individual is expected to provide timely and informative direction and support for the FLO local sales teams to efficiently optimize their cargo canvassing efforts, and evaluate the account’s business performance. Individual will be engaging in dispute resolution where the field is unable to resolve.

Key Result Areas

  • Meeting KA business requirements & exceeding KAM targets (volume, revenue and the targets set.)

  • Timely provide the assigned performance reports (mainly statistical) & highlighting salient points & commentaries

  • Execution of agreed KA service levels across the globe and driving to meet the set targets.

  • Customer satisfaction through efficient & prompt sales support internally to FLO globally & externally to KAs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assistance with preparation for pre-negotiations between Head of KAM & Trades

  • Monitoring of SLAs through collection of relevant information & reporting to Head of KAM, include assistance with identification of root causes

  • Assistance in formulation and uploading of performance targets to ensure effective delivery to FLO Sales

  • Design, timely update and delivery of useful working statistics for account performance

  • Creation and maintenance of reliable & accurate data for Customer Profile

  • Administrative support in preparation of presentation materials, performance reports & RFQ bids/tenders

  • Investigative support to highlight system/data integrity issues to process owners in the course of working with various system for performance management

  • Ad-hoc handling of sales and marketing related assignments & projects

  • Performance of tasks as and when assigned by the Head of KAM & provide back up support to other Corporate Commercial team when needed.

  • Regular monitoring of news on key accounts in publicly available sources and reporting to KA Executives

  • Process of account plan with Head KAM, Trades & provides support on all KA related activities.

  • Lead supervision with Commercial, Operation & other functional team to ensure Service Level Agreements are attained for the selected KAs.

Hiring Requirements:

Education: Possess tertiary education qualification preferably in Business, Statistics or Mathematics.

Experience: Minimum 5 years work experience in Liner Commercial business ideally in account manageme

Preferred Advantage:

  • Practical and relevant experience in sales of APL Front Line Office (FLO).

  • Experience in working with various APL process owners at corporate level.

Skills required:

  • Familiar with APL systems including STAR, RAD, PAD, CCAM, JOC, Go-CRM and all basis modules of CCMS/SRS.

  • Conversant in Microsoft Office applications – PowerPoint and Excel
