Job Description

The Content Localization team’s mission is to provide our global customers with high quality content experiences in over 26 languages. We help people to connect in over 203 markets and countries by offering them PayPal in their local languages.

Primary Job Responsibilities :

International Content Managers are passionate for producing best-class content for different platforms – websites, mobile devices, videos, social media channels. They support markets outside the US by reviewing, editing, writing and transforming source content to make it suitable to the country they support.

Responsibilities

  • Create, transform and adapt product source content to guarantee they are on-brand, suitable to PayPal international customers, applicable based on the current feature/functionality offerings and consistent with PayPal’s tone of voice guidelines.

  • Create, transcreate or localize marketing content from US English to local language.

  • Drive content strategy and final copy for marketing communications, emails, and mobile apps based on customer needs, business objectives and legal requirements – when applicable.

  • Maintain and update assets such as Style guide, Brand and Legal guidelines for the market.

  • Evaluate product and business requirements to translate them into an efficient content adaptation strategy. Understand how content and design work together to create the best possible user experience.

  • Work with interaction designers, visual designers, interaction engineers, and language specialists to give life to experiences our customers love.

  • Use Content Management Systems to produce and manage content through the full content lifecycle

  • Be an expert on PayPal products, flows and functionalities in different platforms.

  • Mentor and train writers and content specialists that produce/review content for PayPal (internal partners and external agencies).
