AbbVie Maintenance Engineer in Singapore, Singapore

* Support the Maintenance Manager in in preventive and break-down maintenance of manufacturing equipment. * Develop SOPs and Work Instructions to technicians, train and develop their competence. * Supervise the maintenance personnel to ensure Safety, Quality of work, completeness and cGMP compliance and provide day to day support to operations for maintenance, troubleshooting and technical issues. * Supervise and organize work done by external, specialist maintenance contractors. * Perform maintenance activities in conjunction with senior technicians for critical equipment * Provide guidance and instructions to technicians to perform maintenance (preventive breakdown predictive) * Inspect and check equipment and operating systems and correct, wherever necessary * Perform risk assessment of maintenance activities in conjunction with other stakeholders like technicians, operators, EHS personnel. * Monitor and maintain tools, part inventories and workshops to ensure availability and optimal working conditions * Coordinate maintenance activities & shutdowns with user groups and QA, where needed. * Ensure timely response to issues such as breakdowns, changeovers and provide necessary support beyond normal working hours. * Assist in conducting technical analysis on manufacturing equipment * Actively participate in implementation of CAPAs. troubleshooting, plant and equipment improvements

* A diploma in relevant engineering discipline (mechanical / electrical / chemical) * At least 7 years of relevant work experience preferably in chemical / pharmaceutical / biotech facilities with a sound knowledge of cGMP * Positive attitude and willingness to learn * Good technical knowledge and willing to work “hands-on” in maintenance of biotech / pharmaceutical / chemical processing equipment * Good knowledge of CMMS and proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Project) * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills * Ability to work as a team with employees and external contractors * Ability to plan, organize and implement activities and projects * Excellent team player willing to work for the common goal
