Manufacturing Technician (Job Number: 014894W-01)
Troubleshoot and take corrective action to ensure operating parameters are within Standard Operating Condition (SOC) for the production of quality products
Conduct routine patrol checks and data collection on manufacturing processes
Participate in safety, cost and quality improvement activities
Assist in Plant maintenance work
Engage in activities as part of an Emergency Response Team (ERT)
To execute job plans per authorized work permits in shifts as required
Clear communication of jobs and it’s status within shift and between shifts. Prepared shift reports and makes entries for production and unscheduled downtime data into log reports
Ensures all jobs during the shift are done as per safe work practices.
Responsible for safety of all personnel during the shift including individual safety.
Ability to identify and correct all deviations unsafe acts or conditions during the shift
Monitors consumption of raw materials, packing materials and waste generation during shifts.
BOM accuracy reporting
Accountable for all quality and safety issues during shift operation
Responsible for batch formulation per SOP, packaging of bulk finished products and product changeover in compliance to CP requirements.
Required to Operate Forklift for materials movement between warehouses to process area.
Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology or relevant technical disciplines
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong team player
Able to perform 8 hours rotating shift work
Prefer to have PSA or MOM accredited license for Forklift Operation.
