The position requires the candidate to be able to fill technical and business development roles related to Presales activities. You must possess the ability to articulate to the customer complex networking solutions in technical architecture terms and use case terms. You would present to senior C level management in high-level clear language and at other times be required to participate in detailed deep dive discussions with customer experts. You'll also be a spokesperson on the topics of SDN and NFV at key customer and industry events.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed predetermined sales and services quota.
Develop or expand relationships with customer's engineering, architecture, planning, and procurement teams to drive the customer s business and company strategy.
Work closely with Nuage Networks account teams to communicate a vision for Nuage Networks SDN and NFV engagement in order to increase sales.
Work with account leaders and regional business development leaders to develop and implement account plans consistent with these objectives.
Participate in quarterly business reviews (QBR) to track progress toward shared goals.
Implement and support SDN and NFV sales strategies in key targeted accounts
Work with the request program leader to structure processes that focus and target key opportunities.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement a governance approach for managing QBRs of key opportunities.
Identify and engage local key SDN partners; moreover, manage and ensure partners consistently meet the necessary criteria to facilitate constructive and productive customer engagement and high levels of satisfaction in targeted key accounts.
Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of TXLE sales processes and support initiatives.
Create and maintain strong relationships with other Nuage Networks teams, including Field Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Customer Service, and product teams.
Comprehensive understanding of networking and virtualization business.
Understand some or all of the technologies involved in VMM, Nuage Networks, VMware NSX, KVM, vSphere, Cisco ACI, logically distributed firewalls, Xen, Juniper Contrail, OpenFlow, VXLAN, onePK, various hypervisor technologies, one of more of the cloud environments (VCloud, OpenStack, Cloudstack), and containers (Dockers, etc.)
10 years of senior-level experience in sales, marketing, engineering management or product management.
Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in engineering; MBA is a plus.
Deep domain knowledge and extensive experience with the SDN community and an understanding of how SDN can transform the TXLE and Telco industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with senior executives and program owners.
Exceptional organization and teamwork skills.
Highly collaborative work style with proven ability to gather consensus and take decisive and timely action.
