Mercer is seeking a dynamic and strategic Operations Leader to be part of the Global Health Delivery team. The mission of the team isto provide an exceptional customer experience with a focus on simplifying processes, leveraging best practices and a strong engagement model for both colleagues and the businesses. This positon will provide leadership and management oversight on all aspects of health delivery in Singapore in partnering with the market and business.

You can also look forward to:

  • Designing and implementing a service delivery environment that optimizes the cost of delivery and that addresses customer needs/expectations.

  • Providing thought leadership & execution of best practices (e.g. Workforce management/optimization, Transactional quality, COEs, etc.)

  • Establishing scorecards & reporting across the country on the performance of the delivery teams

  • Designing and managing a governance structure to ensure alignment on key priorities and initiatives for local leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Formulate in partnership with HR & other stakeholders, people engagement strategies for the operating groups.

  • IT interaction & oversight as it relates to operations ensuring technology and related tools optimization.

  • Assist the business in identifying and managing operational risk

  • Partner with and leverage the broader Mercer Services organization where appropriate.

  • Drive changes and the development of solutions which are critical to achieving business goals (e.g. revenue growth, client satisfaction and retention, colleagues engagement) leveraging on an agreed measurement system and the continuous use of problem solving techniques and process improvement methodologies.

Qualifications

We are seeking for a highly motivated candidate with at least 8 years of operations and technology experience serving the insurance/ financial services industry .

In addition, you should possess:

  • Degree inManagement, Operations Management, Business Administration or related discipline

  • Change management and project delivery track record

  • Utilization of process improvement and problem solving techniques

  • Benefits administration systems Client Implementation (Flex or non Flex)

  • Demonstrates strong written, oral and presentation skills to communicate all levels of the organization.

  • Exhibits solid operations management and planning skills.

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, broad based project management experience and outstanding client focus.

  • Demonstrates strong management skills required to lead teams in achievement of goals and objectives.

  • General knowledge of core Health business and its related processes

  • Proven ability to successfully manage projects of varying complexity.

  • Demonstrates strong project management skills

  • Ability to operate/ navigate in a multi-cultural business environment

  • Quantitative, fact-based approach to decision making

  • Demonstrated financial acumen and commercial mindset

  • Experience working with 3rd party service providers, including contracting, delivery and ongoing support

  • Lean Six Sgima and/ or Project Management certification preferred.

  • Darwin knowledge is a plus
