Job Description – Regional Sales Lead

Job Mission:

Lead the strategic engagement in the largest and most strategic accounts and opportunities in the time zone. Pro-actively identify the right accounts and lead the local teams to land successful Digital Transformation deals.

Key areas of responsibility:

As Regional Sales Lead, you will be expected to bring your deep customer, sales and deal making experience to bear on the largest on most important accounts in your time zone. You will engage executives and resources around the company to make incredibly complicated deals happen. You will work on Strategic Accounts, where Microsoft provides a differentiated customer experience through dedicated account teams focused on meeting the needs of our customers to drive revenue, land market making wins, drive customer satisfaction and deliver a consistent experience to our customers anywhere in the world.

Field Leadership:

Lead your area leaders to drive Digital Transformation in their areas and support them and their teams to make their largest deals happen.

Show the account teams how to fish, do not only fish for them.

Develop significant executive relationships in selected strategic accounts.

Develop talent in strategic accounts.

Corporate Strategy:

Provide feedback and learning to the corporate teams based on your engagements to make Microsoft better. Understand Onelist, the Digital Winroom and other corporate assets to help you close deals, but also to influence strategy.

Metrics:

WW Revenue for Strategic Accounts in your time zone

Close rate in your strategic deals

Skills/Experience:

Extensive track record of successful sales leadership including outstanding sales achievement and deal making.

Strong ability to coach sales teams and lead through influence.

Ability to crystalize requirements and asks for Corporate teams to respond to.

Strong track record of delivering WHI at or above average level.

Depth Knowledge of Enterprise sales processes and a strong track record of cross company working.

Experience of working with product groups and other Corporate teams to drive Digital Transformation deals.

Track record of building strong teams and developing great talent for the company.

15+ years experience working in the software industry.
