Extreme Networks Sales Operations Director APJC in Singapore, Singapore
The Director of APJC Sales Operations will work closely with the VP’s of Sales and their respective teams to achieve the company’s revenue and profit goals. This position will report to the VP, Worldwide Sales Operations be responsible for GEO Bookings, revenue, margin and Opex forecasting, analysis and reporting, supporting the annual and quarterly budget process, as well as supporting the GEO Sales Leader in all aspects of the business.
Partner with the APJC Sales teams to achieve revenue and contribution margin goals in support of the company’s the short and long term objectives.
Manage and coordinate the forecast and pipeline management process for APJC.
Evolve forward looking metrics and forecasts to more accurately predict future financial performance, including key supporting analysis to include sensitivity analysis and scenario planning.
Analyze and report quarterly on sales trends by customer, verticals, pipeline creation, new vs existing customers, and other measures.
Be the GEO “super user” on SFDC reporting and usage.
Drive Sales behavior in line with the new Sales Strategy and Process.
Drive and improve all analytics related to revenue generation, margin, sales performance and sales productivity; by region, by product, by market segment, etc. Serve as "center of excellence" for all key sales, contribution margin, discounting practices and related metrics and analytics - supporting sales and BUs product teams.
In coordination with the business units and sales management, drive improvements in price performance, including; discount strategy, pricing exception criteria and exception approvals.
Drive the sales forecasting process aligning a cross-functional team of product management, operations and sales. Define processes to improve sales forecasting and integrity in sales inputs to the process, (pipeline, predictability, etc).
Assisting Partners and Distributors in overcoming business challenges to ensure ease of doing business while ensuring deal closure and revenue recognition.
Establish effective partnerships with peers across the business.
Provide ad hoc analysis and business support in addition to recurring accountabilities.
Manage and continually improve all aspects of Sales processes within the GEO.
Minimum of 10 years of related finance/Sales Operations experience
Experience working with multi-channel large, dynamic sales organizations.
Experience with SFDC and Oracle.
