Preferred Qualifications

We

are looking for an experienced sales professional who has a passion for leading

sales enablement for cloud sales teams. Ideally

you will have 10 years of experience in a sales or sales leadership role with

strong stakeholder management, a consultative approach, outstanding

presentation and facilitation skills founded in delivering sales skills

training.

You’ll

be partnering with sales leadership to assess training and development needs

and build a training plan that incorporates strategic OSPA initiatives for our

field and pre-sales professionals. The role is highly collaborative and

involves working with a team of professionals across APAC, and global program

leads, to execute state-of-the-art training in the region.

The role also involves the delivery of high impact training

programs, leveraging your experience to create memorable and relevant learning

environments.

There

will be travel involved with both domestic and international assignments

(approximately 50%).

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in managing, interacting and influencing senior level

stakeholders.

  • 10 years professional sales experience (including cloud sales)

  • Consultative approach to identifying, assessing and prioritizing

requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver sales skills training and

coach-the-coach models.

  • Strong communication (written and verbal), presentation and facilitation

skills.

  • Understanding of sales methodologies in practice.

  • Flexibility, agility and problem solving skills to operate in a

dynamic environment.

  • Understanding of value of Oracle’s solutions in the context of

the buyer.

  • High level of discipline to work practices and an eye for detail

  • Understand

executive functions and can simulate executive buyers in role plays to teach

skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Build execution plans that align the OSPA global and regionalefforts.

  • Work with internal OSPA groups to align, plan andexecute delivery of the plan.

  • Deliver sales skill training programs for reps andmanagers.

  • Supervise and direct a team of OSPA and SME resourcesfocused on training and delivery.

  • Work with the global strategic program development teamas needed to facilitate courseware development efforts to maximize the re-usabilityof materials and IP.

  • Work with the global tools and technology team tocoordinate program delivery efforts.

  • Meet with employees, partners, and vendors, whennecessary, to plan work and solicit feedback and requirements.

Education

Degree level qualification minimum and relevant

training qualifications would be an advantage.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for delivering training on Oracle methodologies or product/solutions to sales and sales consulting personnel. Ensures successful delivery of training engagements with a high level of satisfaction. Provides sales or Oracle domain expertise in one or more skills or solution areas. Work with Sales, Product Marketing, Product Development and other counterparts to facilitate training content development and delivery. Become the knowledge expert on areas of delivery.

Facilitate meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction targets by delivering quality training in classroom environments and or over the Web. Maintain deep knowledge and skill level while demonstrating expertise for all designated topics, plus additional, complementary topics and/or best practices. Articulate at a granular level a respective concept or solution

  • s vision, capabilities, business value during offerings to both sales and sales consulting audiences. Consult/work with Subject Matter Experts, Sales Performance Designers, etc., in order to deliver the material in an effective and engaging way. Provide analysis and feedback on training events to program teams or management regarding training results. Meet or exceed utilization expectations. Successfully manage the training environment while reporting an resolving issues. May be asked to lead the development of new course offerings, create custom offerings and solutions based on experience that add value to the larger Oracle organization.

Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills. Ability to multi-task and superior time-management skills. Ability to handle diverse groups of employees, including an international audience. Ability to establish credibility and create confidence quickly and easily. Excellent organization and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Maintain high student satisfaction scores on post-class surveys. Instructor certification in 4 or more different Oracle products/skill courses. Possesses a certification to conduct TTT on behalf of program development team or external vendor courseware. Demonstrated industry or management experience leveraged to conduct complex management courses at senior levels. Recognized as a subject-matter expert outside Oracle. Possesses exceptional expertise in one or more course areas. Business travel of up to 75 percent annually may be expected of this position. Typically 12 plus years of experience with 10 years sales or sales consulting experience, 6 years of experience teaching at Oracle or another company. Proven thought-leadership and expertise in previous job functions. Masters Degree or equivalent experience.
