  • Manages employees and sets individual goals that link to departmental priorities. Coaches staff, supports development, makes hiring decisions, and drives performance management, recognition and rewards.

  • Manages the Sales Planning function for a given geography, group, or product line.

  • Ensures market research and sales analysis meet business need and evolve to reflect internal and external best practices.

  • Drives continuous project and process improvement efforts within the function by working across all interfacing organizations. Applies advanced functional and business understanding and problem solving skills to create a positive impact on the business.

  • Directs assigned project work to completion, keeping focus on work which will be applicable and impact future sales efforts. Ensures projects meet deadlines.

  • Keeps abreast of market trends, new technology and process innovation throughout the sales community. Utilizes internal and/or external partnerships that leverage resources and enhance business group effectiveness.


  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years related experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of the sales planning process including forecasting, targeting, and assortment planning.

  • Demonstrated experience managing large sales reporting functions.

  • Strong and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence others.

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple business functions.

  • Strong team player and ability to work with the cross functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the business .

  • Must have a strong passion for the NIKE brand and sports.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS office applications.
