Description

  • Lead and Implement strategic initiatives for Global and Direct Custody Service in Singapore, define success criteria in partnership with senior stakeholders, and implement measurement processes to track progress and impact

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Singapore clients

  • Assist the Singapore Custody Service Head in the daily operations and management of Singapore service and Global Custody Operations organization, and act as a point of escalation for issues

  • Expected to manage projects or work streams as required

  • Manage service providers of Global and Direct Custody Operations, including performing regular service reviews and ensuring compliance with MAS outsourcing guidelines

  • Participate in customer RFP’s and associated sales initiatives

  • Deliver appropriate service models to meet current and future client needs, driving positive client experience

  • Deliver to tight deadlines across multiple geographies and functional teams

  • Maintain a culture and environment where processes and controls are continually monitored and potential risks are escalated on a timely basis

  • Leverage the regional and global organization through engaging stakeholders within Operations, Technology, Business, Compliance, Legal and Regional Management

  • Create a strong organizational culture by focusing on VOE feedback, implementation of Operations Excellence, career development, mobility and Innovation

  • Facilitate strong communication across various channels

Qualifications

  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent in relevant subject preferred (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Management)

  • 10+ years of experience in a global financial institution, preferably Custody

  • Deep product knowledge of Custody, with in-depth insight into how Operations and Technology functions within the product set

  • Experience leading a service organization

  • Possesses strong communication skills and proven success interacting with senior management both in the business, and corporate functions

  • Must possess strong relationship skills

  • Demonstrated experience in working with diverse teams across a regional footprint

  • Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented

  • Ability to deliver to a high standard under extreme time pressure
