This is a Business Analyst & Project Management role within the FXLM Technology Team based in London, working on the build-out of the pricing platforms with a focus on emerging markets FX, FX Fwds / Swaps, IR Swaps, Bonds and IR derivatives.

The FXLM eTrading Technology Team is one of the most exciting and fast-paced teams within FXLM Technology and is responsible for delivering the electronic technology platform for the business. The team are directly integrated with the Trading Desk and Quants, and deliver technology covering the major liquid instruments such as FX Spot and Forwards, Precious Metals, eNDF as well as IR Swaps and Bonds. The team’s responsibilities extend to all aspects of the electronic trading domain, from market connectivity and Co-Lo Infrastructure to pricing models, hedging and algorithmic execution. The liquidity provided by the AutoTrader platform is distributed to a wide range of venues such as client API, ECN’s, Multi-Bank platforms and our own Single Dealer trading platform (Velocity).
We are looking to hire a senior resource with a FX & Rates background to work with the business and technology teams as a Business Analyst, responsible for gathering and analysing Business needs and requirements for pricing and eTrading projects for the EM business.
Close interaction with Traders and Quants to understand new requirements for applications across the platform, specifically focussed on Pricing and Distribution
Clearly document requirements, roadmap to delivery and also actively participate in solution design
Ad-hoc and on-desk support of the production systems (a dedicated 24h support team handles 1st line)

Knowledge / Experience:
At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
Excellent knowledge of Rates & Foreign Exchange products
Excellent Knowledge of Emerging Markets and their peculiarities, nuances is preferable
Hands on experience of the following
FX price construction and distribution
Yield curve - good understanding on how to construct a yield curve and how to use it to generate fwd curve
Spot, FWD and Swaps trade behaviour and lifecycle
Basic Project Management capabilities
Recent experience working with an electronic trading Technology Team
Self-starting individual with experience of working in a desk facing role
Quantitative understanding of the FXLM or G10 Rates trading business or related areas (e.g. Equities high frequency trading)
Expert Excel skills with VBA
Intermediate / Expert on financial market calculations (e.g. FX, interest rates, NPV, Bond Pricing etc.)
Intermediate / Expert on Agile development platforms. Conversant with the development lifecycle and tools used (e.g. JIRA, Kanban, Scrum boards etc.)
Strong aptitude for analysis and problem solving
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn
