We are now seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Consultant to join the team to drive continued growth across the current operations in Asia. The responsibilities of this role include all aspects of driving and managing property loss control and engineering projects, providing clients with advice and expertise on hazard and operational risks, incorporating fire protection, natural hazards and integrity of building and other assets.
In addition, you can look forward to:
Marketing of Property Risk Consulting (PRC) practice and wider consulting organization internally and externally.
Supporting the Marsh brokerage business as needed both in country and if needed outside of country.
Driving innovation and new solution offerings.
Client servicing and satisfaction.
Supporting the MRC Practice in the development and management of new and enhanced practice solutions.
Support of overall PRC practice’s performance goals and business objectives.
Project management and consulting work to agreed deadlines and budgets.
Management of the business relationship with Marsh brokerage.
Participation on new business opportunities.
Responsible for writing and pricing proposals and communicating the value proposition to clients and prospects.
Presentations and attendance at key industry seminars.
Analyze client needs or project outline and suggests suitable approaches or options to consider.
Use facilitative and diagnostic skills to assist clients in the articulation of problems.
Probe beneath surface issues for concerns or issues that may be unclear to the client.
Selectively match products and services in own specialty to client’s key needs.
Use systems to organize and track information.
Produce creative and effective materials that reflect an understanding of client, project and technical issues.
Provide and manage revenue forecast for the team.
Provide training, coaching and mentoring to develop technical and consulting skills of junior colleagues.
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical science
5 years of professional experience in the Property Risk Engineering and Loss Control Business
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Proven leader in thought innovation, client servicing and winning new business
The job will require travel and be able to work to tight deadlines.
Experience in providing health and safety consulting and/or conducting fire and life safety audits is preferred but not required
