The Walt Disney Company Senior Sales Manager, Advertising and Sponsorships in Singapore, Singapore
As Senior Manager of Sales for ESPN Southeast Asia, the ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the Southeast Asia marketing and advertising market with a focus on Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. You will use your existing relationships to grow ESPN’s advertising business in Southeast Asia and will be tasked with growing relationships in key verticals. A successful track record of uncovering and helping create domestic and international advertising campaigns in Southeast Asian markets is a must. This position is part of the ESPN APAC team, reporting to the Director of Sales, ESPN APAC region.
Proactively prospect and grow advertising business with a focus on large clients and sponsorship driven campaigns. Implement advertising strategies for Southeast Asia clients with a focus on Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Develop and grow relationships with regional clients looking to expand their business internationally outside their current market footprint.
Manage and grow advertising relationships with ESPN commercial partners in multiple Southeast Asia markets.
Coordinate with other ESPN international regions on global campaigns for Southeast Asia clients.
Develop a North Asia multi-year sales and business development strategy plan with Director of Sales and General Manager of ESPN APAC region.
Provide feedback loop on marketplace activity analysis for the business development and editorial groups to help shape strategy for the Southeast Asia region.
Collaborate with ESPN Marketing, Communications, and Research, Production and Editorial groups in building, proposing and delivering multi-platform advertising campaigns.
Maintain and grow and active advertising sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
Basic Qualifications :
Relevant experience with multi-platform digital advertising: Video, Mobile & Display.
Established client and agency contacts.
Familiar with consultative business development approach to a client’s marketing goals and needs.
Ability to thrive in a large entity that operates at start up pace in the APAC region.
Understanding of the digital media market within Southeast Asia.
Successful experience in pitching and creating branded content programs, familiarity and understanding of branded content a must.
Self-starter with strong time management skills and self-discipline.
Television and North Asia experience is a plus.
