SMS|Curvature Singapore is looking for a sales and technically oriented person to join our growing global server and storage team. As a Server and Storage Pre-Sales Specialist, you will work with our internal sales teams and with external customers to determine solution requirements, set pricing, manage quotes and drive opportunities to closure. Additionally, you will manage other internal processes related to the sale and support of server and storage products, including the build and management associated bill of materials (BOMs), support tickets, change requests, and general server product questions. The successful candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, consistently delivers timely and accurate results and has the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and with customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Determine solution requirements and set pricing based on Curvature pricing models and guidelines

  • Answer general server and storage product questions

  • Assist the supply chain management (SCM) department regarding inventory purchases

  • Design and configure basic server and storage BOMs for sales teams and the server and storage team

  • Manage and respond to sales support tickets in specified service level agreement (SLA)

  • Work with multiple vendors and OEM channels to secure pricing quote to win with APAC sales team

  • Participate with marketing team to create programs and awareness for servers and storage

  • Update internal item tools with product content

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to discuss technology solutions peer-to-peer with management professionals

  • Ability to gather business intelligence and server/storage technical requirements

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and/or marketing databases

  • Deep Knowledge and expertise in servers & storage is required

Professional Qualities and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Proficient in Excel is a plus
