PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As a key part of SAP Global Small Medium Business team (SMB), the goal of the SMB ByD Centre of Excellence EMEA is to enhance the solution GTM via successful cloud deployments, increased adoption and renewals in coordination with sales, services, support teams and partners. Through innovative services support the Partner ramp up and extension of their market footprint, and supporting customers to enhance the solution experience.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As Solution Advisor ByDesign CoE/RIG, you will play an instrumental role for the success of ByDesign. You will be working in a team, that will act as Center of Expertise and Regional Implementation Group for ByDesign delivering implementation services directly to our ByDesign customers but also enabling and supporting our partners with additional services (e.g. quality checks, go-live support etc). Key objective is to ensure go-live, deliver the maximum value of ByDesign for our customer and ensure that every customer will be a reference adapting more and more of ByDesign capabilities.
The Solution Advisor ByDesign CoE/RIG will report into the regional head of SAP Business ByDesign CoE/RIG, you will drive customer success by
Being part of a team of engagement architects who are individually or as a team responsible for customer success by delivering innovative services and other risk mitigations strategies in strong collaboration with the SAP sales, Customer Engagement Executives, services and support teams.
Taking the lead to manage the successful solution deployment for “lighthouse” and strategic customers.
Working effectively with our Partners, and support them in the ramp up of their ByDesign GTM with enablement & productized services to support their business.
Support the customer enhancement experience, working with Support, other SAP LoB, and partners de-escalating critical customer situations and providing services to extend their solution footprint
Working with Product Management on the product enhancement and GTM to meet current and future market requirements.
The responsibilities of the Role include the following tasks:
Collaboration with sales and customer engagement teams for increased adoption
Working with partners and partner management on the partner engagement & enablement programs and ensuring successful deployments
Support SAP’s engineering and operations team for improved solution quality & stability, and extension to meet market requirements
Contribute to the further optimization of ByDesign implementation methodology and enablement assets.
Driving onsite and remote engagements at customers sometimes for extended periods of time
Delivered services remotely/onsite to time and budget constraints
Deliver remote training to partners and customers with occasional onsite training delivery
Transfer product knowledge to customers/partners to reinforce training
Provide Go-live and post live support to the customer/partner and ensure a smooth project closure and transition to support.
Feedback implementation learnings into Methodology and Content Team Lead delivery teams for partner and customer assessments in critical and non-critical situations
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Experience in working in a virtual team on global basis
Ability to collaborate with services, sales and deal architecture
Superior ByDesign product knowledge and proven implementation experience in specific in the SME market
Familiar with the delivery of productized services
Self-motivated, results-driven able to effectively deal with a certain degree of ambiguity/autonomy and capable of making sound decisions
Ability to calmly manage and resolve project/customer escalations whilst having sound judgement to involve management at the appropriate time
Strong customer facing communication/presentation skills
Willingness to ‘roll up one’s sleeves’ and assist wherever needed
High levels of energy, resilience, intelligence and integrity.
Ability to analyze complex problems, both business process and technology related, and to resolve them by implementing actionable measures
Ability to make fast and reliable decisions, also under pressure and within strict deadlines and involving complex environments or situations
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work, convince and influence, stakeholders, colleagues and customers across all levels of their Organization
Highest level of flexibility required; willingness to learn on a continuous basis and ready to adopt changes and align team direction
Excellent communication and presentation skills
6 years in implementation delivery role as SAP ByDesign consultant and project manager
Proficient in the Launch methodology
Sound solution and technology knowledge of SAP’s portfolio and related business processes
- University Degree in Commerce / Business and/or computer science
- English - another Asian language would be an advantage
