Job Purpose & Responsibilities

Provides user support for SABIC Application deployed solutions (i.e. SAP Logistics Execution module) to ensure smooth service delivery, manage Application Services resources to ensure continuous support to applications via processes incident, problem and change management.

Secure un-interrupted supply of application solutions in order to guarantee the standards of operational excellence for the SABIC business processes.

Provide user support for multiple business units whose day to day operations are critically dependent on all application deployed solutions and Secure availability of Application systems. Provide continuous application knowledge improvement among the business users by giving timely training.

Manage the relationship between the Global IT organization and the Global SBU / Corporate Function / Shared Services / Manufacturing affiliates.

Ensures that all requirements are identified, understood and appropriately assigned for delivery within the IT organization, and collaborate with the business to identify opportunities for IT to add business value.

Strategic Contribution

As a member of the Regional IT team, participate and contribute to the execution of the overall IT strategy to ensure Global IT maximizes its short, medium and long-term value to its customers

Formulate and implement plans in line with Global IT strategy in order to meet the needs and objectives of SBUs / Corporate Function / Shared Services represented within the region.

Functional Management

Issue / problem management in SAP LE module

Translate business requirements into IT/SAP solutions by analyzing the requirements and proposing optimum solutions. Support business users in preparing the requirements document, effort estimates

Work with Global CoE (Center of excellence) Team in planning, designing and implementing the solution, including preparations for post go-live support

Support key users in preparing the Master data

Perform functional and integration testing

Participate in audit activities and follow-up for closing the findings

Preparation and execution of workshops and presentations as and when needed

Provide subject matter expertise and end user training in LE module as and when needed

Participate in Change and release management

Support users with access management for LE roles

Secure knowledge level of Application related tools & processes

Adhere to and promote relevant Application policies and procedures

Establish close collaboration within and across teams to achieve service objectives

Administrative Management

Secure knowledge level (Logistics Execution) is up to standard for team members supporting other modules

Adhere to and promote relevant Application policies and procedures

Deliver input for KPI measurement

Communications and Stakeholder Management

. Maintain regular contact with the Regional IT Sr. Manager to ensure service alignment

. Maintain regular contact with the Regional teams to ensure service aligned to their needs

. Own stakeholder communication as well as all the escalation points for LE related issues and follow-up till resolution

. Ensure involvement of right stakeholders in pro-active communications regarding scheduled maintenance efforts, planned upgrades & system outages

Continuous Improvement

Analyze recurring incidents and performance of existing systems, processes, people and ensure corrective actions are taken

Continuously look for opportunities to make the functions processes more efficient


University or Bachelor degree, preferably in IT or Engineering

10 years experience in a global virtual Industry or IT environment

8 years experience in SAP

3 years experience in managing the IT projects, programs etc.

Relevant SAP Certification

Strong functional experience in SAP LE end-to-end Implementation, Rollout, Support, upgrade, enhancements and various below areas of logistics execution,

Inventory and warehouse management

LE organization elements

The goods receipt process: Goods pickup from the vendor and put away in the company's warehouse

The goods issue process: Picking the goods and delivering them to the customer

Internal warehouse processes such as posting change, stock transfer, and inventory

The shipment process: Inbound and outbound shipments, and shipment cost calculation and settlement

Push deployment, Handling units management with warehouse integration, includes the label printings, scanners etc.

3PL EDI interfaces for goods movements. Strong expertise in IDOCs processing and trouble shooting

End to end Integration experience with other modules (SD, MM, PP,QM, APO,GTS & FI)

Good knowledge of supply chain management process

Cross country experience, able to communicate clear with users in different Asia Pacific region

Good problem analyzing skill, able to translate business requirement into technical specification, good in creating the documentation

Willing to take Level 1 / Level 2 operation support

At least 2 full cycle of SAP LE implementation projects

Exposure to Petrochemical industry and business background will be a plus
