Nutanix Systems Engineer, Global Systems Integrator in Singapore, Singapore
Network and evangelize Nutanix enterprise cloud value within GSI community. Deliver learning sessions on Nutanix solutions and offerings. Hands on assistance with Proof of Concept for Nutanix Solutions. Build long-term business relationships and become a trusted advisor within GSI’s to identify opportunities and position Nutanix Solutions. Co-Develop industry specific solutions for joint customer pursuits. Act as the technical go-to-person for presales, services and delivery organizations within the GSI eco-system. Act as GSI’s advocate within Nutanix organization.
Thorough understanding of one or more of the following areas:
Networking, Storage, and Platform Performance/Sizing.
Scripting / API based integration of various orchestration tools
Ability to motivate, train and conduct seminars within GSI partners to increase Nutanix revenues within assigned territory.
Ability to maintain relationships with technical resources at all levels of GSI and customer organizations.
Thorough understanding of technical sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand and articulate customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of business cases, and technically close deals.
Flexible, dependable, self-starter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills.
Ability to travel within Asia Pacific and other locations including Corporate HQ.
High level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge.
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5-8 years prior Sales Engineering or Reseller experience in a high tech sales environment with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology
Experience leading technical engagements with GSIs in Asia Pacific region including Dimension Data, Accenture, and IBM Global Services in addition exposure to HCL, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Cognizant and other such India-based GSIs.
Direct professional experience with VMware
Experience selling servers, storage hardware, networking and automation tools
Knowledge of Linux/UNIX
Knowledge on business critical applications from vendors such as Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft
