Job Description

The Third Party Risk, Manager will support operationalizing the Vendor Management Lifecycle, for the Global Vendor Management Program, throughout PayPal.

The person we are seeking must be self-motivated and have proven experience influencing and communicating effectively across all levels of the company. He or she should have proven ability to build relationships/partnerships and work cross-functionally to drive time sensitive deliverables.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the vendor management program globally across PayPal, providing regional support for Singapore and the entire APAC region.

  • In collaboration with the Global Vendor Management Program Office (GVMPO)team; support and implement a vendor management risk program across PayPal

  • Communicate, educate and enforce a common and consistent approach to vendor management within the business units

  • Support the updating of policies, standards, and processes for the vendor management program

  • Serve as the GVMPO main point of contact to APAC regulators

  • Thorough understanding all relevant internal policies and external regulatory requirements, ensuring the vendor management program remains current

  • Ensure concepts of materiality, unified risk assessment, vendor segmentation are applied to create a comprehensive, yet practical, program

  • Support, analyze and act as a resource for the management of the Vendor Information platform, engaging with technical leads, PMO and stakeholders

  • Serve as a point of contact, for resolving vendor management issues

  • Establish close working relationships with key business partners; outsourcing management, enterprise risk and compliance, information security, privacy, resiliency, legal, internal audit and line-of-business vendor management leads

  • Support special projects and initiatives: special projects vary from strategic initiatives to day-to-day operations. Support needs will vary by project and will require strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
