Reporting to the APAC Head of Reconciliations-the successful candidate will be responsible for oversight and production of day to day reconciliations of Citi Books and Records vs multiple CCP memberships and internal omnibus accounts as well as processing and verification of cash movements vs internal and external counterparties.

As an AVP level role, there is an expectation that the successful candidate will be driven to improve the team and department through involvement in a number of strategic initiatives as well as driving efficiency in day to day processing. The individual should also feel comfortable acting as deputy for the APAC Head of Reconciliations as and when required and should keep sufficiently informed to be able to represent the team at relevant departmental and project management meetings.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensuring the completion and delivery of all exchange, 3rd party broker and intercompany reconciliations on a timely basis and reporting of trade, position and cash breaks to minimize the risk exposure to the firm and its clients

  • Closely monitor and escalate to regional management any trading errors, exchange breaks and ensure that all correcting entries are correctly booked and cleared

  • Management of daily funding movements vs internal and external counterparties

  • Supporting the Funding team on daily process

  • Oversight and preparation MIS reports & other statements

  • Full and informed engagement in strategic initiatives and project meetings


Essential Experience :

  • Direct experience of ETD Reconciliations at a major broker dealer (GMI knowledge a distinct advantage)

  • 5+ years experience preferred

  • Demonstrating a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to take onboard feedback and adapt quickly

  • Ability to manage competing demands and delegate accordingly within the team
