Set up, develop and lead the Cloud Insight organization (LOB / SaaS focused) across EMEA
Lead complex & multi-LOB engagement teams with senior experts from sales, pre-sales, consulting, and solution architecture to help shape and drive large technology opportunities
Demonstrate outstanding management consulting skills to influence thinking or gain acceptance of multiple customer constituencies
Ensure quality in customer engagements with the most strategic customers and deliver increased customer satisfaction and better opportunities for Oracle
Provide direct deal support by leveraging knowledge of Business Functions specific challenges and solutions, management consulting skills and analytical abilities in identifying key strategic drivers for CxO’s, assessing process capabilities and developing business value propositions
Establish and manage Thought Leadership practices (internal think-tanks) to contribute valuable content & IP to the sales organizations and customers
Integrate knowledge of best practices, latest technology trends (e.g. Cloud, Big Data, Digitalization), operational objectives and strategic objectives to define a clear strategy, solution architecture and roadmap with actionable value communication
Contribute to team’s thought leadership by providing guidance on content and methodologies that can be leveraged
Establish governance and strong relationship with senior internal stakeholders
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Manages and directs a staff of solution specialists and/or managers in providing specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales territory. Establishes and communicates departmental objectives and implements plans to ensure attainment of business objectives. Works closely with sales management to ensure proper utilization of resources and provides justification for additional resource requests. Oversees the Interaction with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Develops forecasts. Participates in industry/product functions, seminars and round tables to remain up to date on industry or product knowledge. May deliver presentations/solutions to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions.
Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge preferred.
