Job Description Summary

You will ensure the smooth delivery of Recruitment and C&B activities in liaison with AP ASC and partner with the various Value Streams and Sections to maintain manpower requirements. You will be accountable for the Recruitment & Selection, Talent Development & Acquisition, Employee Relations & Communications, C& B and HR Key activities/initiatives and HR Projects.

Job Description

1.0 Recruitment & Selection

1.1 Responsible for the recruitment and selection of all levels for the plant, ensuring sufficient numbers to meet overall organization business objectives.

1.2 Recommend and implement recruitment strategies and retention programmes to meet manpower for current and future plant organizational needs.

1.3 Preparation of Monthly Headcount Reports

2.0 Talent Development & Acquisition

2.1 Support the overall talent acquisition effort for the organization through liaising with business partners and key customers to understand organizational talent needs and develop and implement cost-effective, efficient, and creative recruitment strategies.

2.2 Help in the follow up action of the Human Capital Map and track the progress of the development plan or any related projects.

3.0 Employment Relations & Communications

3.1 Maintain an effective, productive and positive organizational climate by promoting upward and downward communication.

3.2 Advise and work with departments to administer disciplinary procedure and handle any arising employee grievances.

3.3 Assist in driving the Gallup related activities to improve on the engagement level of associates.

4.0 Compensation & Benefits

4.1 Assist in companywide C&B activities such as Merit Increment, AWS and Variable Bonus payout; Annual Performance Appraisal; etc

4.2 Responsible for Annual Budgeting exercise and related monthly budget variance reports and activities.

4.3 Salary Analysis for new hires.

4.4 Participate in HR C&B Projects where applicable.

5.0 Other Activities

5.1 Audit payroll records and documents to ensure compliance.

5.2 Continuously review processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency

5.3 Support in Committees.

5.4 "Safety & ISO 14001 Environmental accountability: Ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplace by observing Company’s rules and procedures. Active involvement in prevention, elimination of potential safety hazards and participation in activities which promotes recycling, replacement and reduction of resource materials.

5.5 Safety & health accountability: Safety and health are important to BD and we encourage the observance of all safety programs and training assigned to you. Such programs are to be attended in a timely manner to ensure that work tasks carried out are in accordance to our safety guidelines and SOPs.

5.6 Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
