Analyst Transactional Execution-(Singapore) - Fixed term (1 year)

BHP Billiton's Marketing activities are undertaken through a centralized Marketing organization with a network of offices across the world supporting our major customer markets and the distribution of products from our operations. The majority of Marketing staff are located in Asia with Singapore being the primary hub office.

Currently we are looking for qualified Analyst, Transactional Execution to be based in Singapore and join our Central Administrations Team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Demonstrates an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.

  • Demonstrates commitment to the BHP Billiton Charter and Code of Business Conduct.

  • Executes internal administration processes and compliance activities.

  • Executes the process to create invoices and support further internal processing as required

  • Verifies LC terms and presentation of compliant documents to Banks.

  • Checks submitted CT contracts are aligned with signed or approved customer contracts as saved in the system, and performs other checks as required in the contract reconciliation process.

  • Ensures compliance with processes in support of SOX control environment.

  • Maintains Marketing aligned processes, templates, and standards, as established, to satisfy compliance, risk, and other relevant requirements

  • simplification or improvement projects as required.

  • Entry and maintenance for Freight voyages

  • Responsibility for system data integrity

  • Provides assistance to team members where required and act as back up in their absence.

  • Assists Line Manager with projects, temporarily or for longer periods, as required, with particular focus on process alignment, simplification and best practice

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will bring strong prior experience in international trade and finance, ideally gained in operational and marketing based functions. You will have strong SAP, Microsoft Suite experience and possess a Bachelor's degree in business/ management/ commerce and/or equivalent.
