Inttra Inc Customer Service Representative in Singapore

INTTRA professionals work with 54 leading carriers and NVOCCs, 109 software alliance partners, as well as their customers, to streamline and standardize their shipping processes worldwide through a network of more than 220,000 shipping professionals. Over 600,000 container orders are initiated on the INTTRA platform each week, representing 27 percent of global ocean container trade.

We are currently considering exceptional candidates for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Shanghai or Singapore. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will provide comprehensive customer service to all customers/carriers. The CSR is expected to provide timely, professional, and accurate responses to customer/carriers inquiries regardless of intake channel (email, portal, chat, or phone).

  • Responsible for responding to customer requests/issues in a timely and professional manner and resolving business issues promptly

  • Receive and handle emails, phone calls and live chats

  • Log all the cases in Salesforce (phone calls)

  • Accountable for driving customer satisfaction by understanding the root cause of the business issues and ensuring proper solutions are provided

  • Strictly follow the SOPs and handling customer request and queries

  • Build, maintain and strengthen business relationships with customers

  • Develop and foster deeper understanding of customer needs, concerns and future plans

  • Work closely with other IT team to resolve production issues and outages

  • Outstanding communications skills, both oral and written

  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers, peers as well as executive level management

  • Fluent Vietnamese and Mandarin

  • Possess pleasant, yet assertive telephone personality with good listening skills

  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to dive deeply into and understand business problems to provide accurate solutions

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Excellent organizational skills, able to set priorities, and be responsive to customer requests

  • Demonstrates business knowledge, perspective and ethical behaviour

  • Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic

  • Team player with strong level of collaboration and coordination skills, able and willing to ensure teamwork is well practiced within team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge/experience in shipping industry

  • Knowledge of EDI data standards/formats

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as customer service representative

Education:

  • HS Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred

Special Work Hours Requirement:

  • May require occasional weekend support.
