Position Description:

  1. Driving Monthly / Quarterly reporting process• Preparing timetable, managing country submissions and country queries• Driving country calls to review P&L analytics submissions• Preparing executive packs, P&L distribution to APAC Regional Product Leads• Prepare head office commentary on results• Prepare presentations to MAS and rating agencies

  2. Driving Estimates/R&O/Budget process• Driving the quarterly estimates and annual budget calendar• Support local FP&A leads and finance business partners in the process• Prepare and provide APAC Product leads with consolidated estimates/ budgets

  3. Non-routine reports• Support the preparation of papers, business cases and reports from Regional Product leads and/or Country CEOs • Support the preparation of presentations to regulators and rating agencies

  4. Managing team/ managing stakeholders• Manage team in India FC and Manila CTOM• Training and development for more junior colleagues• Manage stakeholders including NY Finance teams, APAC Finance teams, APAC Product leads and senior executives including country managers

  5. Strategic projects• Design/ implement projects, including cost saving initiatives, process improvement projects, etc, under leadership of the senior Finance executives

Position Requirements:

Requirements• 6-10 years working in Finance department of a large regional or multi-national corporation • Hands on experience supporting finance department activities including Month-end close, Budgeting, Management reporting, external reporting• Strong analytical and process orientation with the ability to define and validate as-is processes as well as to design to-be processes• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills to understand management and internal client’s needs • Ability to handle multiple initiatives with competing interests for time and evolving priorities• Ability to adapt easily to change• Demonstrated ability to work closely with project teams, business and senior executives as part of a joint team across regions.• Collaboration with cross functional teams• Track record of success in delivering Process Re-design and change management within an organization preferred• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Powerpoint and Word• Knowledge of Microsoft Visio or similar software product for documenting processes preferred• Knowledge of Shared Services or Technology Center operations preferred
