Objectives of the role, tasks and expectations:

  • End to end responsibility for the APAC SaaS Marketing Plan from strategyto execution. Lead and drive execution of Oracle APAC SaaS marketing based onknowledge of near and long term objectives, evolving business needs andpriorities, changing market landscape and competitive intelligence supportingERP/EPM, HCM and CX product portfolios.

  • The person in this role will act as the primary marketing interface tothe SaaS business leaders at APAC level for the offerings and market segmentthat he/she manages. He/she develops a thorough understanding of the market andsupports the overall strategy for the market segment including offering plans,channels/routes to market and business case documented in the marketing plan.He/she is responsible for developing the marketing plan which includes theoverall market segmentation model and priorities within it; the marketpositioning and Oracle's value proposition within the market segment; andprioritization of marketing programs to meet both thought leadership, pipelinecoverage and revenue goals.

  • Focusing on Demand Management, he/she takes the lead in developing anintegrated and dynamic marketing strategy to support the SaaS business unitfuture quarter’s pipeline build. He/she provides guidance on segmentation,market positioning, messaging, value propositions and differentiation into themarketing programs in order to effectively meet the needs of the customeraudiences and market segment.

  • This person needs to be skilled in cross-functional teams acrossmultiple countries to help formulate the SaaS marketing strategy and executionplans to improve overall marketing performance. He/she will coordinatemarketing inputs for key cross-functional objectives, gather business andmarket intelligence, synthesize customer insights, harness demand managementmethodology/output, to deliver an integrated APAC SaaS marketing plan withclear investment prioritization. He/she needs to use ongoing feedback from thecountries and shifting competitive landscape, to continue to refine and changeexecution plans to maximize results.

  • Serve as the strategic control & integration point for CorporateMarketing and work across the Oracle APAC Marketing organization.

  • StakeholderManagement. Ensure complete alignment with business stakeholders. Act asmarketing advisor to regional business leaders, and content marketing advisorto country marketing leaders.

  • Marketing Program Development and Leadership: Develop key marketingprogram strategy and co-develop SaaS GTM program in partnership with countrymarketing leaders across APAC. Focus on targeting CFO, CMO, CHRO, COO, CPOaudiences by deploying the full marketing mix to optimize reach and ROI fromSaaS marketing investments across APAC region. Leverage professionalassociations as brand ambassadors to establish new C-level relations for thebusiness in support of cross- and upsell opportunities.

Required skills and qualifications:

* Bachelor degree in marketing or business management. MBA preferred.

  • 10 years of relevant experience in integrated marketing management,cloud marketing, business user marketing.

+

  • Strong domain and market knowledge of APAC SaaS / applications marketand competitive landscape.

+

  • Excellent understanding of the needs of sales teams and ability totranslate business needs into successful marketing plans.

+

  • A thorough understanding of strategic planning and market segmentationmethodology.

+

  • Prior experience with a major MNC in a regional capacity working acrossmultiple functions and corporate/global-regional-country stakeholders.

+

  • Strong intercultural and communication skills. Results driven withsuperiors collaboration skills in matrix organization.

  • 360 degree marketing skills covering digital, social, media, events,tele, advertising, product launches and sponsorships.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.

As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Ability to work with Executives. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic. Team player. Experience using or implementing Oracle, SAP, or Peoplesoft applications. Basic HTML and web technology skills a plus. 8 years technology/industry experience and BA/BS/MBA degree.
