You will be part of a team that assists AIG Singapore’s ERM function reporting directly to the Head of Risk
You will assist in the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of the risk management framework and strategy
You will contribute to the risk monitoring and reporting in relation to enterprise risk i.e. insurance, operational and financial risk
You will work closely with all departments to identify, evaluate and monitor key risks and potential risks faced by AIG Singapore, as well as the controls.
In addition, you will assist in the roll out of program to foster and sustain an effective risk culture and awareness level within the organization.
You will be responsible for:
Liaise and run sessions with various stakeholders to develop and refresh the Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA)
Oversight of the operational risk event in term of collection, quality, review and reporting.
Maintenance of the risk reporting database and systems to administer RCSA, control testing and loss events.
Contribute to risk reports for the Senior Management’s Risk & Capital Committee meetings and for the Board Risk Management Committee meetings.
Collection and review of reports submitted to the Risk & Capital Committee for KRIs reporting
Preparation and refinement of the Risk Profile
Assist in producing the ORSA report and Risk Appetite Statements , as well as other regulatory reporting when required
Analyze outsourcing initiatives and prepare risk assessments.
Participate in ad hoc risk assessments / analysis.
Prepare and deliver training on various risk initiatives to the network of Risk Event Coordinators and other employees as required.
Maintenance of the Risk Management Department’s records.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated professional with a keen interest in the field of risk management. This job demands a strong appetite to learn together with an ability to work in a team environment
Bachelor’s Degree (at a minimum)
Experience in enterprise/operational risk management or audit is preferred (but not compulsory)
Preferable background in the Insurance Industry or Financial Services Industry
Good stakeholder management skills
Excellent communicator who can articulate messages to different audiences
Good team player with the attitude to excel
Good analytical and writing skills (operational risk events, committee minutes etc.)
Ability to manage multiple projects with good attention to detail
Strong responsibility for the task in charge
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential
