BT Sector Sales Manager/Account Director in Singapore

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and maintain BT‘s customers Business Capabilities roadmaps that guide the evolution of Hybrid cloud Infrastructure.

  • Analyze Business Architecture for gaps in people, process and technology. Develop and drive 3-5 year roadmaps for technology domains and services that articulate strategic and architectural analysis.

  • Validate Technical Architecture against Business Strategy, Goals and Requirements

  • The ability to articulate the relationship between business strategy and technology strategy.

  • May involve managing project teams involved in the delivery of specific tasks associated with Hybrid cloud based business transformation programmes, strategic projects and change initiatives within time, cost and quality parameters.

  • To work with internal, external and third party suppliers.

  • To act as a key contributor and provide expert advice to other groups on hybrid technical and operational issues.

  • To produce cost/timescale solutions/options and manage expectations as appropriate with customer or Business Unit/LoB teams.

  • To personally participate in and contribute to BT wide professional community activities where applicable e.g. knowledge sharing, best practice within BT and external industry.

  • To use the relevant BT wide professional community framework to raise their skills and those of their team to the recommended PC standards.

  • Ability to understand customer current server and storage environment to create a target architecture.

  • Be able to work with customers to clarify and understand the technical challenges to move to hybrid cloud.

  • In the absence of the Client Sales, meet and present to prospective customers.

Business Impact:

  • Maintains a reputation for quality and delivery of their expertise to the business.

  • Responsible for bringing the target revenue in working the Account Management team.

  • Contributes to the transformation strategy BT’s cloud of Cloud vision

Essential Skills (Skills without which the person cannot perform the role)

  • Experience and fully competent with designing and solutioning on areas related to DC virtualization/ Hybrid cloud computing, Data Management , High Availability and ITDRP

  • Experience in writing proposals for Large Business driven Hybrid cloud transformational projects in Global or regional professional services organisations

  • Must have good presentation skill and be able to articulate difficult concepts to a variety of audiences

Overall Skills and Experience (Include skills that in addition to the essential skills are required for the person to perform the role in a better way )

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Sound knowledge of major Cloud Architecture standards like Azure and AWS

Qualifications

Essential

  • Typically qualified to postgraduate level or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technologies discipline

  • At least 8-10 years of relevant professional experiences in Business driven way of driving data Centre Transformations like Hybrid Cloud/ DC virtualization, data management, high availability and business continuity practices and Hybrid cloud transformation Managed services

  • Any cloud certifications like AWS/AZURE or any other cloud certifications

Desirable

  • Network Virtualization Certifications related to essential qualifications will be advantageous

Language Requirements: Fluent written and spoken English is a must
