What you’ll be doing… *LI-AD1

The Senior Digital Media Specialist is responsible for maintaining and growing our digital media efforts in Japan. The role requires hands on experience implementing campaigns via search, display, social, content partnerships with a focus on testing and optimization.

This position requires an individual who has a collaborative approach with both internal and external partners to develop new campaigns and identify opportunities to scale where possible.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Team up with the Japan marketing team to ensure advertising needs specific to Japan are being met while also ensuring alignment to the larger business needs of the company

  • Challenging the norm where necessary and collaborating on alternate approaches

  • Working with the Digital Marketing team to recommend the right media mix for the Tableau business in Japan with a broader strategic goal in mind

  • Support and expand existing search advertising efforts in Japan across various search engines (Google, Yahoo Japan) to generate new leads

  • Implement display campaigns locally on GDN and or via DBM, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube with a goal to generate new leads

  • Identify additional tactics to drive guaranteed lead generation programs including content syndication

  • Help define and execute our landing page optimization strategy, working in conjunction with our Marketing Operations team.

  • Collect and analyze data from ad platforms and CRM database to evaluate campaign performance, make recommendations, and implement accordingly.

  • Understand & translate media results in a business context for sharing with local, regional and global stakeholders

  • Keep a pule on the B2B competitive landscape in Japan and share ideas with digital and marketing teams around opportunities for Tableau

  • Work with publishers to implement best practices and ensure inclusion in beta programs

Who you are…

  • Experienced. Several years experience successfully running digital campaigns in a B2B environment in Japan

  • Highly Technical . Experience creating campaigns and tracking performance in advertising platforms such as Google, Twitter, Facebook

  • Domain . Experience working in multiple geographies in APAC is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent.

  • Excellent Communication. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it. Fluency in English and Japanese is essential.

  • A True Team Player. You’re the best at what you do and you know how to work with your colleagues to get their best.
