TheRole:

As the APAC Senior Director of

marketing, you will own the implementation and execution of all volume

marketing materials and campaigns for the business across APAC.

With your strategic insights, and

data driven mentality you will be driven to meet the demands of the role by

using your expertise and hands on experience in commanding a team who executes

and creates new and existing pipe through marketing methodologies .You will view marketing as a pipeline generation engine.

This role provides you with the

opportunity to shape the future of the APAC mid-market business, as we execute

and enhance the way in which we engage with net new business and identify

opportunities. Working closely with the DDG Team, Sales Leadership, PR and

product pillar leadership, you will work towards achievable pipe and marketing

performance targets whilst developing new cutting-edge engagement strategies

and programs to generate revenue.

In

summary, this is a key leadership role, who is accountable to the execution and

implementation of APAC-wide marketing campaigns and programs that drives

predictable and well forecasted pipeline to the business on a quarterly

basis. Strong accountability, and

transparent plus engaging leadership is critical for the success of this role.

MarketingExecution Responsibilities:

  • Developsunique marketing programs and strategies which build upon the broadermid-market GTM strategy.

  • Developand implement all field marketing activities within own business area toensure achievement of short and long term business objectives, increasedprofit and market control.

  • Isaccountable to weekly and monthly business reporting for marketing enabledpipe, and reports on this on a weekly/monthly basis to the SalesDirector/Vice President.

  • Is akey spokesperson for the marketing organisation within his/her pillar.

  • Aligns closely with the digitalmarketing organisation for the implementation of campaigns.

  • Leads and provides insights intodigital and marketing content for key product pillars.

  • Developsa total understanding mid-market target audience and data opportunities.

  • Contributesto the line-of-business and geography marketing strategy.

  • Activelydevelops new approaches and opportunities for expanding company businessbase.

  • Actsas a liaison with senior management to ensure that marketing activitiesare in support of sales plans.

  • Directsmarketing resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriatemarketing mix for the line-of-business and/or the geography.

  • Managesrelationships with major suppliers, agencies, customers, industryassociations and government representatives to achieve marketingobjectives.

Management& Stakeholder Responsibilities:

  • Leadsa strong and accountable marketing team across APAC.

  • Developsstrong, trusting relationships between Sales Leadership, DDG, PR andpillar leader stakeholders, providing leadership and support to his/herown team.

  • Provideseffective performance management:sets clear goals for all staff, provide regular feedback onperformance and conduct a formal appraisal at the conclusion of the fiscalyear.

  • Managesthe activities of the staff according to overall marketing strategies andbudgets.

  • Implementsorganizational changes in line with changing business & market needs.

Skills/Requirements:

  • 10-15 years full-time experiencein mid-market sales / marketing

  • Hands-on with the numbers, able to

present leads/pipeline/revenue funnel.

  • IT marketing experience required.

  • Solid understandingof social media and the digital landscape of the future

  • Experience delivering mid-market messaging usingstorytelling to define and produce a marketing solution.

  • Strong communication, relationshipmanagement, organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to identify opportunitiesfor growth.

  • Presentation skills

  • P&L experience/knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Plans, executes, and measures demand generation marketing programs that result in growth of sales pipeline and revenue for Field Sales organization.

Develop and implement all field marketing activities within own business area to ensure achievement of short and long term business objectives, increased profit and market control. Contributes to the line-of-business and geography marketing strategy. Be an active member of the global Marketing team to ensure consistency of strategic marketing programs. Disseminate key corporate information to the line-of-business and geography operations pertaining to new product development/launches. Actively develop new approaches and opportunities for expanding company business base. Act as a liaison with senior management to ensure that marketing activities are in support of sales plans. Direct marketing resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriate marketing mix for the line-of-business and/or the geography. Ensure consistency between global directions and line-of-business/single-geography implementation choices. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns on a line-of-business/geographical basis. Manage line-of-business/geographical social media strategy. Manage line-of-business/geographical social media strategy. Manage relationships with major suppliers, agencies, customers, industry associations and government representatives to achieve marketing objectives. Provide effective performance management: set clear goals for all staff, provide regular feedback on performance and conduct a formal appraisal at the conclusion of the fiscal year. Manage the activities of the staff according to overall marketing strategies and budgets. Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market needs.

Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management involving negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge. Software business management experience. Sales and Marketing experience in the IT industry. E-business Internet practical know-how. Proven ability to manage budget, approval processes, resource allocations. Professional credentials in Marketing, Academic credentials desirable. Past experience in Sales desirable.
