What you’ll be doing… *LI-ME2

You will be a pioneer in this newly created role at Tableau, selling a product customers love, at a fun and exciting company! Blending your proactive new business skills with your strategic account management expertise in this senior hybrid role.

As Enterprise Sales Territory Manager, you will be predominantly responsible for driving new business sales of Tableau products within a set of Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts, whilst continuing to grow the existing customers within your geographic territory.

This role manages all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, lead management, qualification, product demonstrations, evaluation, close, expansion and ensuring the successful adoption of Tableau within the customer account. This is a quota-carrying sales position that plays an integral role in the success of the overall sales team. The role will be predominantly office based with occasional opportunity for on-site customer meetings.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include…

  • Regularly analyzing your territory to create innovative business plans of how you’ll win new business and expand the existing customer estate through collaboration with Marketing, Operations and Channel.

  • Take ownership of creating your own detailed prospecting lists using various methods, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, in order to identify and successfully win new Enterprise customers.

  • Consulting existing customers to understand how they are using Tableau currently and where they want to get to as a business. Creating customer centric plans to help them achieve these goals whilst strategically growing the account.

  • Get Tableau and its product suite on the radar of all departments within customer accounts of all sizes and industries, both new and existing. Building trust with customer champions.

  • Meet and exceed direct sales goals within assigned geographic territory

  • Manage all aspects of the sales process including lead generation, qualification, evaluation, close and account management

  • Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales potential with the ability to move a large number of transaction simultaneously through the sales pipeline

  • Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering

  • Provide product demonstration to prospects

  • Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success

Who you are…

  • Experienced. A number of years of software sales experience, including managing and closing complex sales campaigns to sizeable clients delivering 6 figure wins.

  • Domain Expertise. Experience with analytics, data, databases, predictive modelling, or business intelligence preferred.

  • Relentlessly High Standards. Consistent overachievement of sales goals, including quotas, high transactional volume and activity levels (call, demos, meetings, etc.)

  • Detail oriented. Detail and process oriented

  • Go-Getter. Desire to bring new customers into the Tableau franchise and maximize revenue. Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful.

  • Excellent Communication. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it. You speak Bahasa Indonesia fluently.

  • Technically Savvy. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer required. Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or equivalent preferred Bachelor's Degree with a technical or business focus preferred.
